Grades 10–12 · Live online with d.tech teachers

A remote internship with mentorship. No experience required. After a short design bootcamp, each student joins a partner organization for a two-month, task-based internship. They tackle a real project, meet with their intern host every week, and have a mentor alongside them from start to finish.

How it works

  1. Prepare for professional work. Learn about the partner organization, teammates, and project, and practice professional habits.
  2. Work on a real project. Student teams take on a clearly scoped project for an outside organization and deliver something real.
  3. Learn through coaching and feedback. Regular support from an Innovation Programs coach and a professional mentor.

Session details

  • Start: Week of January 18, 2027
  • Schedule: Monday/Wednesday, 5:30–7:30 p.m. PT, plus three Saturdays
  • Program time: 50+ hours, including a two-month remote internship
  • Enrollment deadline: December 15, 2026
